It relies on volunteers for committee roles as well as for support and contributions from parents and guardians for management of concerts and activities. Please consider how you could help.

Supervision & care

AYO provides supervision of students in the rehearsal/concert rooms during the advertised times.

It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure their child is delivered and collected punctually to the tutorial or concert room before and after rehearsals and concerts. AYO does NOT take responsibility for supervision outside rehearsal and concert rooms/times.

Child Protection Policy

The New England Conservatorium and AYO ensembles are committed to providing a safe environment for children. All staff and conductors undergo the Working with Children Check and are familiar with the requirements of the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act. For a copy of our Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct, please contact the NECOM front office.
